Class: Year 3 Year: 2022 - 2023

In Year 3, the children we continued to learn about, ‘Plants’, our topic for science this term. We first did a pre-learning task - children had to decided which was the correct answer to the questions. We did this in an interactive way, the children had to stand either to the left or the right of the screen to decide which was the correct answer.

They then watched a clip all about plants and then the children were all given a plant to look at closely with a magnifying glass. They were all asked to draw the plant in as much detail as possible and describe what they saw, labelling each part. They produced some lovely real-life sketches of the plants. What wonderful botanical artists we are in Year 3!
