Field trip to Fairy Glen

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 3 Year: 2022 - 2023

Today the children went to Fairy Glen in Parbold, to look at the features of a brook.   They looked at the waterfalls and we discussed why the brook did not travel in a straight line. One child decsribed how the water carved the ground so over time the water would find its own way.  The children noticed lots of features about the brook and the surrounding area.  It was a wonderful trip which will give the children lots to discuss back in the classroom.
