In Year 3, the children have been learning how to play the glockenspiel and the recorder.  This week they played their instruments whilst dressed in their costumes for Children in Need.  A wonderful lesson, the children are learning how to play two notes D and E on the glockenspiel, following the sheet music. The children have also been learning the names of the notes quaver, semi-quaver, quavers also how many beats.  When to pause, when to play a short note and a longer note.  Counting in, excellent work.  In the recorder they have leant how to play B, A and G and are able to recognise the notes.
