Media City and Lowry Art Gallery Visit

Class: Year 1 Year: 2018 - 2019

This half term we visited the Lowry art gallery in Salford as part of our history and art topics. We learnt all about the life of L.S Lowry as well as getting the opportunity to work with an artist to recreate some Lowry inspired art work. We learnt some new sketching techniques as well as finding out some exciting facts about Lowry's work.

As part of our trip we also visited media city and took part in a CBBC tour. This linked to our geography and science topics about the seasons and weather. The children had the chance to news and weather reporters aswell as learning about TV production whislt visiting different studios.
