We have had double delight this year as we have seen two superb performances. Christmas nativity plays from our Foundation Stage children in 'Shine Star, Shine' and from Year 1 and Year 2 in 'Hey Ewe!'
Both shows were amazing!
Children in the Foundation Stage wowed us with their confidence and made us all teary eyed with emotion (and sometimes with laughter because a King was spinning his hat around like a spinning top and a sheep had comandeered a shepherd's crook!). We were all delighted as they proved how high expectations can allow children the chance to really shine like stars!
The professionalism of the Y1 and 2 children shows how quickly the children grow up. The amount of lines they learnt, the beautiful singing and their acting skills amazed us all.
These truly are times to treasure.
In the busy, hustle and bustle at the time of year - it is a time to slow down and reflect on how precious these times are.
"I will remember this moment in time - sweet baby of mine."
