Attendance, Timings and School Holiday Dates

Timings of the day

The school day starts at 8.45am and we aim to have everyone learning by 8.50am. 

The gates open at 8.35am and the doors at 8.40am - this is to allow everyone to come onto the school site and be in the class for the start of the day.

Lunchtime is at 11.45am - 12.45am

The school day finishes at 3.15pm. The gates open at 3.05pm to allow parents/carers to come onto site and wait by the classroom doors.

Children must be collected by an adult or have written permission to walk home alone. 

School Attendance

Children must attend school by law.

We recognise children can get poorly. However, please aim for your child to be in school as often as they can - with a school target of 97% attendance. This equates to 5 days of absence across the year. 

Any absences result in missed learning. 

Holidays taken during term times will not be authorised and they will be marked on the school register as unauthorised absences. Please see below for our attendance traffic light system.
