Autism Awareness Week

This morning Mrs Myatt hosted an Autism Awareness assembly as Garswood Primary School recognised Wear a Onesie Wednesday for Schools' Autism Awareness Week 

We know that helping young people to understand autism as they grow up will equip a new generation with the knowledge to accept and empathise with autistic people.

At least 1 in 100 people in the UK have autism... so chances are there are autistic people who you see every day.

Well done Garswood teachers and children for showing their support and wearing a Onesie.
