This morning, families, our SENCO Lucy Myatt and our SEND Governor, Jill Braithwaite, met in the library for our termly SEND Coffee Morning. We had an agenda (see attached) and used the I-Pads to access the links. We also took some time to discuss the families children and their SEND journey so far. The SENCO explained the next steps such as the St Helens Neurological Pathway jouney and the Mediation process.
The Parents/Carers shared some great resources and clubs for children with SEND, including MoMo's Cafe in St Helens. They have a Facebook page which details play sessions for children incluidng games nights and Lego events. Parents can stay with their children.
Such a great morning to support each other and find out more about the SEND offer within our area.
The next Coffee Morning will be held in the Spring Term, however the SENCO is available every Thursday for advice and support.
