Welcome Back

Dear all,

It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome our children and families to the new school year.

As we start to put the dates together for the coming year – there remain lots of exciting adventures ahead. As usual we will try our best to create memorable moments during this special and precious time for our children. We welcomed the children back with some superhero adventures at the top of the path.  Thanks to the fundraising from last year we are able to continue to try and make sure our curriculum and activities enrich the children's lives - despite the challenges all schools face with their school budgets.

Last year we had some amazing events and wonderful visits to enrich the curriculum. London and PGL residentials were superb. We visited the theatre, stadiums, museums, art galleries, forests, lakes, beaches, zoos and some of our youngest children even went pumpkin picking to name just a few of our exciting trips. We celebrated Harry Potter Book night, were visited by authors, illustrators, dancers, sports coaches.

However, let’s not forget our staff - they make Garswood a great place to be every day. They continue to work incredibly hard and have done over the summer to prepare for the children's return. 

I hope everyone has enjoyed starting this new school year and let's look forward to a great year ahead.
