Garswood Primary School are now the proud owners of a large Hugless Douglas!

Madeleine Lindley Ltd launched a National Competition to see how many words could be made out of the letters in 'Hugless Douglas". Garswood Primary School came first out of all the entries with 100 more words than the school in second place! All of the classes had a go and then our fantastic staff collated them (which was quite a task!) and now whenever anyone needs a hug - Hugless Douglas is there to help!

He lives in our library now, where you will also find some books in which he is the main character. Happy reading and happy hugging!
