Year 2 have really enjoyed learning new art techniques over the past few weeks.  They have used their creative journals to practise lots of skills such as printing, shading and tinting and creating intricate pattern with fine nibbed pens. They have used artists as inspiration; working  towards finished pieces and are very proud of the end results. Their work includes 'pop art' prints where they have made their own stamps out of foam and a wonderful sea scene using shading and tinting of blue and then adding pattern on top with a fine nibbed pen.
