European Day of Languages

Lesson: Languages

Our school was turned into a European event today as it is European Day of Languages (EDOL) and a time to celebrate all the wonderful diversity across Europe and within Britain. It was a great chance to learn about the countries in Europe and not just the languages but the landmarks, the culture, the history and geography.

Children particpated in a whole range of events and activities including singing, dancing, craft, design and technology, research, writing, reading ....the list goes on!

The children had a great time and when discussing it they expressed how interesting it had been to go to different classes and learn about different things!
