First forest school

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 2 Year: 2016 - 2017

Y2 enjoyed their first forest school session. The rain poured down as we made our way outside but soon stopped and the sun came out!  The children listened carefully to a story about a small creature who loses his friend.  Some children decided to construct a shelter from sticks for the creature.  Others wrote messages for his friend  and tied them to a tree while others wrote messages on stones using chalk.  We had a fantastic morning working together and helping eachother.
