Forest School fun

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 2 Year: 2017 - 2018

Y2 really enjoyed their first Forest School session of this last half term.  They made chocolate orange cakes which were cooked in the orange skin on the fire.  They also practised reef knots and lashing whilst making wooden decorations and toys.  The children made pan pipes, mobiles, wind chimes and bows and arrows. They really impressed me with their resilience, team work and enthusiasm for trying new activities and food.
