Holi, festival of colour

Nursery and Reception children took part in an exciting and entertaining Bhangracise Workshop. We practiced some Bhangra dance moves and everybody took a turn at keeping rhythm on the Dhol drum.

After learning all about Holi we moved outside to hold our own festival of colour. We had tremendous fun throwing coloured powders up into the air and onto each other.

Nursery children then demonstrated great independence by washing their hands and faces and changing into clean clothes with minimal help.

We continued exploring Indian culture by feasting on a range of delicious dips along with crunchy poppadoms and warm chapatis.
