Lesson: Religious education

Year 4 had the opportunity to visit Kadampa Buddhist centre to learn about Buddhism.

The children listened to a presentation about Buddha’s ancient teachings of compassion and wisdom that is especially suited to children. The children had the chance to look at the Buddhist shrine and ask questions about the Buddha. They then had the opportunity to take part in a meditation session.
