Korky Paul School Visit

The lucky children at Garswood Primary School expericed a memory to treasure on Thursday 25th January, when children’s illustrator Korky Paul, visited the school. The visit generated enthusiasm, excitement and a love of reading and illustration in the children. Korky’s first children's book was a pop-up called The Crocodile and the Dumper Truck published in 1980. In 1986 he was commissioned to illustrate Winnie the Witch. The book went on to win the Children's Book Award in 1987 and has since been published in over 10 languages. Korky has since illustrated more very successful books.
