Light fantastic!

Lesson: Religious education

Class: Year 2 Year: 2016 - 2017

Y2 have been learning about the importance of light in different religions.  Before Christmas, we learnt about how Christians use light during Advent.  Today we have been learning about the Hindu celebration of Diwali and we listened to the story of Rama and Sita.  We found out that the village lit lights to guide Rama and Sita back home. We made our own cone doll puppets and performed the story in groups in our puppet area.
