Liverpool Trip.

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 3 Year: 2023 - 2024

On Thursday, Year 3 went on a Geographical trip to Liverpool. The children experienced an informative workshop about how Liverpool has changed over the years and all about imports and exports. One of the tasks for Year 3 was that they had to work out what the different products were on the tables. In groups, they then talked about their product with the class also telling the class whether it was an import or an export.

After the workshop the children boarded the Mersey Ferry to sail along the River Mersey.

We considered our geographical question: What is the land use around the Mersey like now?

The children listened to the factual talk and drew the skyline also other features of the River Mersey.
