Motte and bailey castles

In History, Year 4 have been learning about the Norman conquest in 1066. They found out about the type of castles the Normans built called motte and baileys. They created a design for a model and produced ideas for how they could make their models. They then worked with a team to produce a group plan. Once their plans were finalised, Year 4 then used their design and technology skills to construct their castles. They demonstrated excellent team work and the ability to overcome difficulties.
