Muddy Mishaps
Lesson: EYFS
Class: Old Foundation Stage Year: 2015 - 2016
After a particularly wet few weeks, the ground underfoot in our Hobbit Hole was of a rather gooey consistency to say the least! This, however was not going to put off the resilient and enquiring nature of our Foundation Stage children. Dressed in their wellies, they investigated the most muddiest mounds and corners which they could find and why not! There were plenty of giggles as their wellies were literally 'sucked' into the mud. This led to some fantastic cooperation as they helped each other put on their wellies. We had some interesting discussions about which properites combined to make mud and there was some lovely descriptive language. All the children agreed that they loved the mud.
