PALS Remembrance service

Class: Year 5 Year: 2017 - 2018

On Friday November 10th, Year 5 joined 9 other schools in a Remembrance service at Lowe House church. As part of our work in school on WWI, the children had learnt about life during the war and the effects it had on local  communities as well as countries.

During the remembrance service, the children's work was displayed and some of their magnificent diary entries were read out to the congregation. Some of the children had worked with the 9 other schools to create an emotive dance which was performed at the start of the service. Another display of the hard work and commitment from all the children  It was fantastic to see the great maturity and respect that the children showed.
