Pancake recipes

The children came into the classroom to find a list of ingredients – the children quickly found the ingredients. The children wondered what the ingredients would make – until they remembered it was PANCAKE DAY (Shrove Tuesday)!

Taking turns and working as a team, the children followed the pancake recipe to the letter. They measured with precision and practised new skills such as cracking eggs while mastering the art of whisking.

Year 1 loved sampling their pancake creations - they even suggested how they’d improve the taste next time. Watch out Mary Berry year 1 are new bakers in town!
