Perfect potatoes

Y2 have been 'chitting' potatoes for a week on a shelf near a window and they were finally ready to plant today so to help with our understanding of plants in science, Y2 planted them today in grow bags.  We will observe over the next few weeks how they grow into a potato plant and produce more potatoes for us to cook.  We have 4 bags and each house planted their own so we have a healthy competition on to see which house grows the most potatoes.  Y2 are already thinking about tasty potato recipes to cook on the fire in our Forest School area.
