Poppies Remembrance Day

In Year 4, the children recycled plastic pop bottles and created red poppies, the symbol for Remembrance day. They discovered how significant the poppy is as a symbol of Remembrance Day by reading the poem 'Flanders Fields' a poem written by John McCrae about World War I. 'In Flanders Fields the poppies blow.'
