Autumn Adventures
Class: Old Foundation Stage Year: 2015 - 2016
Following on from the surprise of finding the pumpkins in the Hobbit Hole, we decided to make our own pumpkin soup. Inspired by the story 'Pumpkin Soup' the children became young Jamie Olivers for the morning. Everybody took turns in preparing the ingredients just like in the story. As in every good recipe the proof is in the eating. Later in the afternoon, after our hearty meal, we decided to burn off some energy and explored our own woodland area. We finished the day off with an outdoor picnic.
