Seed dispersal

Class: Year 5 Year: 2016 - 2017

We have been investigating seed dispersal in Year 5.  The children have looked into adaptations of seeds and how they can be dispersed from our local environemnt.  Children enjoyed experimenting with measuring and throwing from height to gain a more accurate idea of distance travelled by seeds.  We discussed how these seeds were adapted for their particular method of dispersal.
