Lesson: Personal, Social and Emotional Education

Class: Year 5 Year: 2016 - 2017

Following a newsround report, the class were keen to learn more about shark welfare and conservation. The class have used data and other research techniques to learn about the issues sharks face in our oceans. How shark nets are used. The fight against shark finning and the effects of shark encounters on different groups of people. The children have also learnt about the different conditions which would more likely risk an encounter with a shark.
