 On Wednesday 7th December 2016 our Year 1 children had to walk to their RE lesson. They walked to Holy Trinity Church in Garswood to learn more about the Christmas story. Ready to greet them at the church was the lovely Rev. Coffey and members of the congregation. Together, they brought the Christmas story to life. The whole church became a backdrop to five stations of interactive learning, each lead by local members of the congregation. Year 1 hung on every word and took away knowledge and understanding of the origins and the meaning of the Christmas story. A huge thank you to all at Holy Trinity Church for having us.
