The Y5 class have been supporting and raising awareness of Dementia and in particular the Dementia cafe in Garswood. Today 10 of our Y5 children were invited back to the Dementia cafe to help the visitors with calendars and flower arrangements. The children kindly offered to help with the art projects and also serving and clearing the snacks. Throughout the afternoon, the cafe visitors chatted to the children and asked for them to sing some songs before the end. The Y5 children were so thoughtful and kind and the experience was enjoyed by all.
