Lesson: Information and communication technology

The GIST (Garswood Internet Safety Team) took over the teaching in the computer suite today and passed on their valuable knowledge on e safety.  They planned and delivered some fantastic interactive PowerPoints that really got the various year groups talking and giving their reasoning and opiions on various e safety topics such as social media, online gaming, interent usage and who you can trust online.  They then delivered a 'think u know' video and posed some very challenging questions to the children about the decisions made by the children in the video. Then they introduced the children to an online course supplied by 'esafety support' which every child in the school has managed to complete and ensure they are now fully briefed on key matters of e safety.
