Using tools safely

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 2 Year: 2016 - 2017

During our Forest School session tody, Y2  practised using tools safely.  Everyone had a go at using a bow saw.  They positioned a log carefully on the saw horse and positioned their body safely before beginning to saw.  They also practised using a knife to whittle the end of a stick. Next week they will be designing their own wooden animal.
