World Book Day

Year 1 have enjoyed celebrating World Book Day with a range of book based activities and a visit from illustrator Stephen Waterhouse. He showed us the process of illustrating a book and we learnt that it takes time, patience and hard work to create the amazing final results.

Year 1 listened to the story of The Runaway Chapati and then worked with Stephen to create their own food based illustrations. They were amazing.
