Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Year 1 Year: 2016 - 2017

Fabulous Forest School this afternoon. The children have been exploring the natural world around them, constructing natural shelters and building a shelter made from tarpaulin, with the help from our expert volunteer! Some children pushed themselves and took huge risks by climbing trees and using a fixed blade knife to help Miss Jenkinson and an ex-pupil volunteer to whittle skewers. We used these skewers to toast marshmallows on our campfire! We all enjoyed roasting and eating marshmallows!
