Year 1 had a fantastic day at Farmer Teds. The children enjoyed taking part in all farmyard routines as well as testing out the farm's park. The trip has been inspired by our class text: Click Clack Moo Cows That Type, written by Doreen Cronin – it really helped to bring learning to life! The children began the day with a tractor ride, followed by grooming the pony’s, then milked the cows, raced the ferrets, learned all about amphibians and even discovered that guinea pigs originate from Peru. All in all it was an extremely busy and successful day enjoyed by all. Thank you for all the parent helpers, who were just as keen to join in with the farmyard fun! Thank you to Year 1 who were impeccably behaved throughout the whole day.
