Year 1 Bikeability

Year 1 had an exciting day today when they took part in their bikeability training. Despite the cold weather the children wrapped up warm and went outside to take part in some activities using balance bikes on the playground.

There were smiles all round as they took part in various games to develop their balancing skills. Their competitive nature also came out during the races! All the children did really well, and received great compliments from the trainers about their attitude and perseverance in the tasks.

The experience was great for all the children and gave them an opportunity to develop their balancing skills to help ride bicycles confidently. Have a look at some of the photos below to see what they got up to.
