Year 2 - Forest School

Year 2 love Forest School.

So far the children have made 'friendship soup' linked to learning in PSHE. What ingredients would you add to your perfect friendship? 2 spoons of kindness? 1 jug of respect?

They have learnt the art of making a tripod to create bonfires, linked to our learning in history: Gun Powder Plot.

The children have seen the season change before their very eyes, summer to autumn. They can recall the signs of seasonal change: Deciduous trees lose their leaves. Berries appear on some species of trees such as holly and elder trees. Sycamore seeds begin to fall from their branches in such an acrobatic way!
