Year One's Story Morning

On Wednesday Year One invited their grown ups to come and share in some learning with them in school. This was based around stories and phonics. The children and their families shared stories and played lots of phonics games. The grown-ups were amazed at how much the children knew and what they could read. Mrs Meehan ended the morning by reading the story 'Monkey Puzzle'. So much fun was had by all that Mrs Meehan has decided to organise a maths morning next half term. Watch this space for a date!
